This paper discusses relationships and differences between a tire under braking and driving conditions, and the processes utilized to predict the tire´s driving force characteristics. In the current paper, dynamic normal load distribution and dynamic friction are included into the analytical tire model which is validated by comparing simulated results to experimental data. The physical parameters of tire and friction are extracted from experimental data using UniTire. Finally the driving force characteristics are predicted and compared to those obtained from tire test equipment.
