Abstract :
In order to improve the contour machining precision in linear servo system, a novel design strategy based on cross coupled control (CCC) with the position error compensator (PEC) was proposed in this paper. According to the real-time contour error, current feedrate and tracking dynamics of each axis, PEC compensated the position error. Combined with the traditional CCC, it can improve the contour precision and anti-interference performance. The main advantage of the proposed approach is that it can simultaneously improve tracking performances and contour precision without the design of complex controllers. Simulation results showed that the strategy can reduce the contour error efficiently.
