Abstract
A method for estimating the upper and lower bounds of the real and imaginary parts of eigenvalues of the closed-loop systems is presented by combining the first-order matrix perturbation and optimization. The presented method is called iterative perturbation method. The proposed method is accurate relative to the first-order matrix perturbation method and efficient relative to the second-order matrix perturbation method. The numerical results show that the proposed method is effective.
