  • Abstract
    The resin abrasive products hardening furnace is important electric heating equipment. The hardening furnace is a controlled object with time delay and non-linear characteristics, and the temperature has a one-way nature. So it is difficult to establish its accurate mathematical model. Because the conventional PID regulator has fixed parameters, the control effects are often poor. In this paper, the design of self-tuning PID based on fuzzy control theory is presented by using microcomputer hardware platform in order to meet the needs of the characteristics of hardening furnace. By simulization, it is demonstrated that control system with self-tuning PID is the better in performance than conventional PID.
