Abstract :
This study develops a new type AOD converter temperature measurement system. We transmitted light ray by the gas path of sub-lance without additional optical unit. This system introduced two-color near-infrared non-contact measurement. It eliminated errors caused by dusts or any other interfering factor. This system improves the temperature measurement accuracy greatly, and calculates the end point temperature based on carbon and chromium content required by the end point. The real-time temperature measurement could better control the smelting process and improve the hit rate at the end point.
