Performances analysis dedicated to 60 GHz multiband impulse transceiver for Gbits data rate short range communication systems

This paper presents a multi band transceiver architecture dedicated to short range home applications in the 60 GHz band. The proposed architecture reaches an output data rate of 2 Gbps in a residential environment with a distance of 2m between the transmitter and the receiver. Transmitter´s performances requirements are described according to the standardization constraints and technological limitations. Finally the link features and obtained data rates are presented.
