  • Abstract
    A compact dual band filter-antenna subsystem is proposed by using stepped impedance resonator filter and hybrid dual band antenna. The filter is incorporated in LTCC (Low Temperature Co-fired Ceramics) technology. A half cylindrical DRA is excited by a planar monopole antenna to achieve dual band response, moreover the filter-antenna subsystem is proposed, by integrating the filter and the antenna in the same package, utilizing the same technology.
