  • Abstract
    We introduced a simplified structure made of metal sheet pairs with a highly absorptive property. By simulations and experiments, we have investigated its effective permeability and permittivity. It was convenient to achieve zero reflection and transmission simultaneously by decoupling and tuning each resonance individually. We developed a short and long wires model to provide a quantitative explanation for the structure´s electromagnetic (EM) properties. And the results present a good approach to simulations and experiments.
