  • Abstract
    In this work, simulations and measurements are presented to the FSS with fractal elements, more specifically, Koch Island elements. The wave concept iterative procedure, WCIP, is employed to the simulations and the obtained results are compared to measured ones and to those obtained by the use of Ansoft Designer™ commercial software. Beyond these results, the behaviour of the electromagnetic fields and polarization effects are discussed. The contribution of some fractal details is questioned.
