Abstract :
A new balanced triplexer design has been presented in this paper. The triplexer is intended for using in triple-band front-end modules for WiMAX applications. The design implements full integration of the receive path (RX) including channel separating with following balancing of its. Proposed triplexer design procedure provides an essential size reduction in comparison with existing similar products on the market, incorporating a balance function additionally. It has been described a new methodology, caused in increasing integration level and size miniaturization. The balanced triplexer has been successfully produced using low temperature cofired ceramic (LTCC) technology and tested. Measurements provide good agreement with simulations. Size of the proposed component is 3.1 × 2.5 × 1.0 mm3.
