Abstract :
DC magnetic field, RF and microwave are completely non-ionizing radiation energy. They are very safety to apply in medicine, especially in diagnosis. In this paper, Magnetic Resonance (MR) equipment applying RF energy is used not only for imaging T1 and T2 distribution along cross-section of a watery sample, but also for measuring temperature distribution inside the sample by using the phase shift image of T1. Furthermore, the MR equipment is applied for RF heating equipment to heat inside the sample as additional feature of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) tool. The result show that the MR can be applied to heat human body for heating treatment and the simultaneous noninvasive temperature measuring equipment.
