Abstract
After analyzing the fundamental disadvantages of grid computing, we propose the concept of spatial cloud computing, which consists of domain spatial data set, spatial cloud service, and spatial cloud. The dynamic structure of spatial cloud computing uses the lifecycle of spatial cloud lifecycle as a clue. We then discuss solutions for global virtualization, dynamic deployment, resource migration and granularity service in four phase´s lifecycle of cloud polymerization, deployment migration, service startup and cloud dissipation. We also propose solutions for virtualization of infrastructures using mainstream products. We present a random deployment solution based on statistic distribution for spatial cloud, a spatial cloud migration solution, and a service solution concerning both the fixed granularity and float granularity. Finally, we use the national geologic spatial information sharing and service architecture as an example of our proposals.
