  • Abstract
The complexity and variability of business demands have increased the difficulty of reuse of enterprise application systems, but there are some common demands in the different enterprise applications, such as the requirements for data query and statistics. This paper presents a general-purpose query platform whose goal is to provide a reusable query building infrastructure for different enterprise applications. The query platform consists of a query modeler and a query browser, the former provides the query and statistics modeling capabilities based on the definition of SQL statements, the latter provides the data presentation capabilities based on Client / Server and Browser / Server architectures. The experiment of query modeling to the flights operation data of a large airport shows that the query platform can effectively meet the complicated requirements for data query and presentation of enterprise applications.
