Abstract :
Using the cutting machine to get metallographic specimen has been widely used, this article has doing the deep study and research on the control system of electric circuit. The system uses integrated circuits, external resistors and capacitors to constitute a pulse generator, which outputs square wave of pulse. After driver subdivision, pulse distribution and amplified to control the step motor, which adjusting the potentiometer, changing the pulse frequency, and make the speed control of step motor come true. Through the logic combination of intermediate relay and time relay, which to achieve the feed movement and quick return after cutting. This system is not only satisfy the requirements of metallographic specimen but also to make the machine become economical and practical.
