Abstract :
Depth correction of logging curves is an important part of the logging research, matching curve is the key to the depth correction. This paper presents an effective method for depth correction of logging curves based on LTS Hausdorff distance. In this method, after determining standard curve segment, the position of best contrast curve segment is calculated with LTS Hausdorff distance, then to calculate depth error. As the method combines the advantages of PHD and MHD, to enhance the speed and robustness and reduce the interference of abnormal points. Experiments show that LTS Hausdorff distance can effectively avoid the interference of abnormal points, and determine the exact location of curve matching, to realize rapid and accurate depth correction.
