Abstract :
The paper was to generate trees´ spatial distribution map through using VBA programming language in Excel. Scatter diagram of “chart type” in Excel was served as basic framework. Graphics was generated through invoking the object of ChartObject and Chart. Trees´ spatial distribution map of circular plot was imported through polar coordinates. Graphical information was added to trees´spatial distribution map through the idea of “numerous points composing of a circle”. The tool operates very quickly and easily and is practicable. It not only could analyze trees´spatial distribution and competition among trees, but also provide reference for decision-making of forest management practice.
