Abstract :
It is introduced that the present situations and strategy about the maintenance works of USB apparatus on ship in this paper. In order to increase measurement efficiency, a remote back up system is proposed to complete measuring and controlling task successfully. This system is used for monitoring and diagnosing the Shipborne USB based on LXI( LAN extensions for Instrumentation). The signals and measuring devices were lined into switching matrix, the switching matrix and apparatus were joined to LAN( local area network). The device monitoring and testing was done. The overall arrangement was present in this paper, it was verified by the remote panel of LabVIEW. Finally it´s suggested that remote display can be done through this system.
