ERP reflects the thinking of today´s advanced enterprise management and improves enterprise management level with great significance. ERP procurement management system is an important part of project management and effective implementation of the ERP procurement management system plays an important role in lowering inventory costs and improving logistics and inventory turnover rate. In today´s world, customer demand changes rapidly, technological innovation cycle gets shorter and shorter, and the market is getting increasingly competitive. In addition, due to the diversity and variability of customer demands and needs, it is critical for enterprise to find ways to shorten production cycles, and improve control of the procurement of material costs, in order to achieve profitability. This paper provides analysis to the issues occurred in ERP procurement process and recommendations on ERP procurement management process that is suitable for current enterprises.
