The model of District Medical Data Center

As the infrastructure for the healthcare system, The District Medical Data Center need to be built at first. The model of architecture of District Medical Data Center is proposed in the paper. Both the advantages and disadvantages of the model are set forth while the view is presented. The District Medical Data Center is “patient-centered” instead of “accounting-centered” in the ordinary hospital information system. The paper also reports our project progress in this respect through a case supported by “11th Five-Year Plan”. The paper first raised a new proposal that is cloud computing implementing the District Medical Data Center. The nature of cloud computing is useful for constructing the data center. To the new generation of District Medical Data Center, cloud computing is better approach in the future. The idea, the District Medical Data Center as a service is showed concurrently.
