Neural networks are increasingly used in the study of deformation control dam based on its self-organization, adaptive, self-learning, associative memory, a high degree of fault-tolerant, parallel processing abilities, a high degree of non-linear mapping capability, as well as linear dynamic characteristics. In this paper combines former research achievements, summarize and analyze the application method of neural network to deformation control of dam, including the safety monitoring model and feedback analysis of dam. The application of neural network bring forward new problem for the research of neural network and put forward new demand on the implementation technology of neural network, which also drive the development of neural network theory and realization.
