This paper proposed a new method based on analysis of the vector curve, which is integrating piecewise fitting with least square and Hermite interpolation. In this method the original points are divided into several segments along the displacement axis, and then uses the piecewise fitting method to draw the curve, finally applies the Hermite interpolation algorithm to link the fitted curve. We take locomotive wheelset fitting curve as an example to introduce its application in Borland C++Bulider software environment at last.
