Abstract :
The simulation of the natural scenery is one of the most challenging research in current computer graphics. As an important component of the simulation, the wave simulation has got more and more attention. The wave modeling has become a simulation issue of common concern of natural phenomena, both in computer graphics and virtual reality. The paper focuses on the summary of the wave modeling from the research perspective of computer graphics, and introduces the tipicle wave modeling proposed resent years and its research progress. Based on the analysis and comparison of the existing algorithm and models, taking both real-time and realistic into account, the modeling relied on cellular automata, divition of the network and rendering techniques has been improved.
