Abstract :
To improve the intelligentability and usability of internet equipments and server management, effective and precise discovery of internet topology is becoming a very important part of internet management and its arithmetic and relizational techniques are one important element in evaluating the performance of internet management system. Most internet equipments nowadays support SNMP protocol, and this thesis designs an algorithm on internet topology automatic discovery system. This arithmetic can discover all the routers and assigned-internet active pc, and analyses its detailed realization of the key techniques.
