Abstract
Network GIS has a bright future, and gradually becomes the mainstream of GIS applications. ArcGlS Server is ESRI´s enterprise-class GIS platform, it can be used to publish a variety of standard Web Services, and create many network GIS applications. Based on the in-depth analysis of ArcGIS Server system construction, this paper summarizes the general process of creating network geographic information system, and takes an example to show the building of network geographic information system.
