Data models study on teleconsultation system

After introducing the teleconsultation system and analyzing the require of data models from the system, this paper gives the merits and defects from mode managing multimedia data such as the expanded relational model, object-oriented data model and file system and describes the basic frame of the database from the system which is that static structured data adopt relational data model and unstructured multimedia data adopt a method that is combining object-relational model with file system. Finally the paper achieves its general design. Experimental results prove the validity of the managing frame.
