Abstract :
In order to improve and strengthen the ability of survey data processing, MATLAB software is introduced in the course of Error Theory and Survey Adjustment as the teaching assistance method. Based on its ability formidable calculating function, graph handling ability and the rich toolbox, the MATLAB-based Error Theory and Survey Adjustment experiment has been set up. It improves the students´ creative capability and stimulates learning activity, because the abstract theory becomes direct viewing and vivid, so the teaching effect is improved.
