The steam condenser is the one of important component of power system. The calculation of hydrodynamic characteristic should be one of the most important research topics. A three-dimensional physical model of steam condenser is constructed according to the characteristic of multiple condenser pipes and large slenderness ratio inside the condenser. The condenser water flow field inside the condenser is respectively simulated by the usage of porous medium model and 1:1 three-dimensional model. The hydraulic characteristic and velocity pressure distribution of relevant flow field are acquired. The simulation result could provide technique support for optimizing the design of condenser and increasing the operational efficiency and equipment safety.
