Abstract
Software reliability evaluation is an important issue about measuring software quality. As an important process in software requirement analysis, conceptual modeling is widely recognized. They both co-exist in the software engineering process, and enjoy a close relationship. How conceptual model quality impacts software reliability is a problem worthy of study. To solve the problem, under the guidance of ISO / IEC 25012, through extensive surveys and combined with experience of experts, a conceptual model quality characteristics framework was established, which gathers up many factors affecting software reliability and gives the contribution of every factors. The framework gives us some useful tips about assuring final software quality from which aspects at the beginning of software development, and helps software engineers to manage projects and implement it better.
