Abstract :
According to the fact that the exponential relationship exists between the semiconductor resistance and the measured quantity in most semiconductor resistance sensors, a circuit design of natural logarithmic resistance/period conversion is proposed in the paper, the circuit is analyzed in detail, and the period formula of this conversion circuit is derived. This circuit design scheme can expand applicable range of semiconductor resistance sensors and improve measurement accuracy, which has good practicability. Finally a simple and practical natural logarithmic resistance/period conversion circuit with single power supply is given in the paper.
