Abstract
Considered in this paper are the possibilities and peculiarities of creating knowledge portal on the basis of ontologies, as well as basic ontologies of scientific knowledge portal and offline knowledge avantportal. Proposed is two-level concept for development of scientific knowledge portal. According to this concept, the “lower” level (resource) is digital library, created on the basis of ontologies, with metadata about this resource in the “upper” level, which realizes on of the variants of CMS organization.
