  • Abstract
The results of investigations of a new material type represented by periodic structures of finite sizes, consisting of Dielectric Resonators (DR) are presented. Some of constitutive properties do not have natural analogues and have not been completely studied yet. The present report describes the findings of investigation of lattices of cylindrical DR arranged in the plane regular metallic waveguide. For determination of the main parameters such as complex resonance frequencies and amplitudes of partial DR, an electrodynamical model was used based on the supplement of perturbation theory for Maxwell equations. Obtained theoretical results demonstrate a possibility of implementation of new resonators with high Q-factor and with eigenmodes divided from the other coupling resonances by a frequency slot.
