  • Abstract
    The problem of increase of information transfer rate using fiber-optical communication lines is an actual problem connected with development of Internet, MPEGaudio/video, IP-telephony, multimedia, digital TV. Considering that transfer rate for SDH-technology is 155 Mbit/sec, and SDH networks replace thousand kilometers of public telephone network, and taking into account results of made experiments, a technical decision is offered. It is directed to decrease of transferred signal distortions, loss compensation in a line, in order to improve regenerative, functional characteristics of fiber-optical systems of transfer.
