  • Abstract
Upgrading directions of satellite communication systems (fixed, broadcasting, mobile) on the basis of increasing their transmission capacity, improvement of quality of information transfer, scalability are considered. Satellite communication systems (SCS) are currently the main means of providing services to television and radio, international scale. They are widely used for communication: in areas with poor infrastructure and complex terrain to provide mobile services of a global scale. At the same time, SCS´s are inferior in terms of capacity and quality of transmission, terrestrial fiber optic backbone, radio relay lines and radio systems, local area networks (LAN, MAN). In this regard, the global satellite industry companies and international operators are continuously improving tools and systems for the SCS to improve their competitiveness.
