  • Abstract
    The 4 new meso-substituted tetraphenylpor-phyrins and their metal complexes with (-OC16H33) in orto- or para-positions were studied to evaluate the influence of molecular structure peculiarities on mesomorphism and su-pramolecular packing in floating layers. We have studied me-somorphism of bulk samples, its dependence on porphyrins´ structure and substituents´ position, as well as the influence of substituents position on supramolecular organization of meso-substituted porphyrins´ derivatives in floating layers.
