Abstract :
Geographic information system(GIS) methods play an important role in attaching, processing and gathering the elements´ data of the spatial units. Especially, through combined the graphics processing and the spatial data operation organically, the spatial overlapping analyst resolved the division from natural elements to administrative evaluate units. With the steady improvement of the application technology using GIS to the crop suitability analysis, and the rapid development of computer network, WebGIS has emerged and become a hot topic. It´s a certain trend that the existing agricultural GIS will develop in the direction of network.. The paper described the techniques and methods about the Henan crop suitability analysis system based on WebGIS, and at the same time, make an elaborated introduction of the requirements analysis of the system, structural design, database design and data organization, planting suitability analysis, system implementation, etc.
