  • Abstract
In recent years, as a newly developed finance derivative, the movable estate pledge business is rapidly popular in china. It is a solution to samll and medium-sized enterprises´ difficulty in getting funds from banks, but it also brings some special risks such as safekeeping risk, price risk as well as moral risk. A new credit risk management model is described in this paper. By using advanced computer technology and communication technology, a movable estate pledge risk monitoring platform (MEPRMP) is established. The paper illustrates the key technologies of the system design, and comes up with some methods of generating risk alert signal which can be used to warn the users of potential risks. The use of MEPRMP has important realistic significance for banks to manage the business scientifically, lower the risks greatly and ensure the business solid expansion.
