Abstract
The relay based on embedded microprocessor is very suitable to controlling requirement for a lot of low voltage electromotors in 380V distribution system because it is low consumption, small size, high integration and low cost. Combining with the requirement of low voltage electromotor protection in the field, the paper proposes the designed and implemented scheme of protective relay based on embedded microprocessor on both the software and hardware. The relay is of complete function, reliable performance and easy use. The application of relay can improve the controlling level for low voltage electromotor in the field because it can be integrated a whole system. The test of testing centre and the application in the field demonstrate that the idea, design and scheme are reasonable and effective.
