  • Abstract
Research on gene co-expression not only plays an important role in understanding the complex regulatory relationships, it also contributes to our understanding of gene regulatory networks. In this study, based on ATTED-II database, we identified the Arabidopsis anther genes, and then constructed the co-expressed networks for every anther genes, finally, mined the co-expressed data from these co-expressed networks with Maximum-clique algorithm. Furthermore the expression of each Arabidopsis anther gene was systematically analyzed, which may facilitate further investigation of the molecular mechanisms of anther and transcription regulation. Experimental results on extracting co-expressed genes from Arabidopsis anther demonstrate that the method proposed in the study exhibits good performance.
