Abstract
In order to have an intuitive grasp of atrial fibrillation model using ECG mapping technique, we started from animals´ CT images, extracted contours of torso surface and epicardium with Snake model, reconstructed three-dimensional models of torso surface and epicardium with triangular patches. Using interpolation based on Delaunay triangulation, signals (acquired from animal experiments) of normal sinus rhythm (NSR) and atrial fibrillation (AF) were displayed in 3D perspective. And the important process in cardiac electrical activity, such as the start and ending parts of spontaneous AF, could be clearly observed.
