  • Abstract
Recently invented super-aligned carbon nanotube (CNT) array is a remarkable achievement in modern science. Its unique, highly ordered structure is meaningful and applicable in many fields. We report fluorescent analysis of this structure functioning as a template to arrange the stretched, YOYO-1 labeled λDNAs. Real time imaging results showed that stretched λDNAs on the super-aligned CNT films laid along the direction of the CNT arrays. This work demonstrates that super-aligned CNT arrays are useful in nano-manipulation of biomacromolecules, and indicates further applications in biomedical researches.
