Abstract :
In this work, the motion modes of the talin rod domain is investigated with the Gaussian network model (GNM). The slowest mode of the structure shows that the two free terminal move in a negatively correlated way, on an opposite direction. It is thought that this conformational motion mode is the nature of the topology structure of talin rod domain. The peaks of the fast modes correspond to some residues, which are important to the stability of the structure, and these amino acids may have interactions with integrin as key residues.
