  • Abstract
    Agile manufacturing and agile development have been discussed deeply, but the research about agile industrial design has just started. Industrial design is a kind of innovative activity, and the design process generally is of highly uncertainty. Agile methods can adapt to design uncertainty. At the early stages of agile industrial design, the determination of agility evaluation indexes is of vital importance. CTRS model proposed by Dove Rick provides the reasonable agility evaluation index system and lay foundation for the development of agile industrial design. Based on CRTS model, it is mainly discussed that the agility factors about industrial design, and the corresponding comprehensive evaluation system is constructed. Then analytic hierarchy process (AHP) is selected to set index weight. Finally, through cases application the feasibility of evaluation method is tested.
