Abstract :
Key technologies of information reuse, which supports rapid collaborative design under network environment, are studied in this paper. The methods for integration modeling of information, the representation methods for information unit based on global view of the domain problem space, the model space and the active space in a design process, and the design process based on the hierarchy modeling strategy are proposed. Based on the above product knowledge flow model and the coordination method of the design process and information units, systematic decomposition and reconfiguration of design process can be realized, which can finally lead to the rapid product design. These methods provide technology support to the collaborative product design from the perspective of design information and design process.
