An Method for Maintenance Waiting Time Considering Support Equipments Failure

Abstract :
Analysis on materiel support process considering failure of support equipment was presented. Basing on queuing system of priority, a virtual costumer which has a priority in service was created representing support equipment failure. Maintenance process model considering support equipment failure was established. Comparing to traditional models, the impact of support equipment failure was revealed. Respectively, analysis on impact of support equipment´ failure rate and mean time to repair (MTTR) was made under the condition of given maintenance task´ arrival rate and MTTR. By this method, determination of support equipment reliability and maintainability parameters can be valid and efficient.
