Design and implementation of intelligent question answering system based on ontology

The traditional question answering systems have shortcoming that they are not satisfactorily intelligent. To overcome the defect, the paper proposes a new system which applies ontology and search engine to the intelligent question answering system. By making use of clear semantic relation in ontology, the new system is able to expand users´ problems in semantic term, enhance its understanding of semantic information.
