  • Abstract
    Based on the traditional speed control technology for the Mine Hoist system, this paper introduces a new method to control the speed of AC induction motor by combining the fuzzy controller using the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and the general frequency inverter. The proposed method makes the system more reliable, stable as well as intelligent, and is expected to have a promising future. The simulation is carried out under the SIMULINK environment in order to optimize the system performance.
