  • Abstract
The reasons of Moiré Fringe of halftone image were analyzed and the rules of Moiré Fringe distribution, e.g., the screening frequency influence on Moiré Fringe and the screening angle influence on the amplitudes and shapes of Moiré Fringe, were studied in this paper. One method to avoid Moiré Fringe great influence on image optical representation effect was proposed. And we improved the existing image halftone model and developed new frequency conversion amplitude modulation (FCAM). More than 4 colors, HF color printing, could be achieved and the influence of Moiré Fringe could be restricted in the smallest range suppression using the new method which could achieve the best optical effect printing image and enlarge the representation color gamut.
