Abstract
In this paper the linear and nonlinear inversion algorithms are applied to reconstruct a hybrid target in an anechoic chamber from electromagnetic microwave tomography data. The applied algorithms are the linear multiple signal classification (MUSIC) algorithm combined with the time reversal (TR) imaging and two nonlinear domain integral equation based methods, the contrast source inversion (CSI) algorithm and the contrast source inversion algorithm with multiplicative regularization (MR-CSI). Numerical results from the transverse magnetic (TM) and transverse electric (TE) polarization datasets using the multi-frequency multi-bistatic measurements, which are presented and compared, verify the accuracy, the efficiency and the capability of the MR-CSI algorithm.
