Abstract
This paper proposes a method of calculating ink supply amount. In terms of the image coverage data of digital prepress file, by the way of letting every ink-zone feed ink in turn, we can calculate ink distribution on the paper by the use of computer simulation, hence a matrix that reflects ink flow characteristics of the inking system under the current image coverage can be established. When given the requirements of ink amount on the paper, the output ink can be derived to preset ink key based on truncated singular value decomposition.
