Abstract :
The present paper examines the performance of a single-phase induction motor drive supplied by a photovoltaic generator. The behavior of the motor driving different load types; linear and parabolic torque loads, under different irradiance levels is investigated. Simulation results to demonstrate the performance of the system under different operating conditions are provided.
